Bluff walk is spectacular

  0NE of the more spectacular walks in the area is The Bluff at Barwon Heads. Currently enjoying notoriety after the success of the ABC drama SeaChange filmed in the area last year, the unique and dominating feature of The Bluff was often used as a backdrop during the 13-part series.
   A walking track snakes around the headland offering spectacular ocean and estuary views while at low tide you can walk beneath the cliffs and explore the dozens of rock pools and watch the many sea birds that call The Bluff 'home'.

In 1914, it was considered more exciting to drive around the top of The Bluff in one of the new horseless carriages called a motor-car. Hilda Gillies takes a friend  for a spin around the cliff tops in a brand new 18/24 Austin. (Picture reproduced by courtesy of   Margaret Clarence, Werribee,)
