The group first formed in the 1970's and has always been open to all types of computers
Members have progressed through various types of hardware and operating systems including
Zilog Z80  intel 8086 CPM comodore TRS80 Dos 2.0 Windows 1.0 through to
the current Pentium's windows xp linux macintosh
Meetings are unstructured and look at current software and hardware
as well as solving problem brought in by members
the Group currently contains members that range from beginners to profesionals
and from young to retired
